Distinguished Cuban violinist with a long International artistic career with expertise on several musical genres and
styles.
He has been a member of prominent and important orchestras in his country of birth, and on his current residence
in the U.S.A. he is a member of the “Florida Chamber Orchestra” directed by Marlene Urbay. He was also member
of the “Cha-Cha-Cha All Star” orchestra.
He has appeared on the most  prestigious Concert Halls and Theaters in his country land and internationally as
well such as: “National Auditorium” and “Bellas Artes” Theater (México DF), “Sporting Club” (Mónaco/Monte
Carlos),”Teresa Carreño Theater” (Caracas/ Venezuela), “Tchaikovsky Concert Hall”(Moscow/Rusia), “Toronto
University”(Toronto/ Canada), “Sala de Concierto de la Universidad de Málaga”(España), “Dade County
Auditorium”(Miami/USA) and other important Jazz Festivals in Florida/USA.
He has shared stages performing along famous musicians such as: Frank Coopola, Michel Legrand ,Tony
Bennett, Steve Turre, Leo Brouwer, Arturo Sandova,l Sammy Davis Junior, Paquito D’Rivera, Alirio Díaz, Vicente
Garrido, Nestor Torres, Israel López (Cachao), Willie Chirino, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Rubén González, Barbarito
Diez, Celia Cruz, Oscar D’Leon, Alfredo de la Fe, Federico Brito, Jose Angel Navarro, and others. Most recently,
he participated in the Orquestra for Donald Trump’s wedding in Mar-A-Lago, West Palm Beach, and Florida.
Gerardo Aguillón has produced and directed several recording projects and has recorded two CD s: “Latin Violin”
and his most recent production “Gerardo Aguillon Charanga”.
At the moment he is living in the United States of America, in Miami Florida, continuing his active work as a
musician and violinist always open to the possibility of making and sharing interesting musical projects that would
allow him to show his art to the American audience and the world.
Recently Gerardo Aguillon got an award for his participation in the album Latin Grammy Award-winning
dedicated to master Israel Lopez (Cachao)
Album "The Last Mambo".
